Terms and Conditions 

What happens when a booking for a dog behaviour session is made?

When you contact Simply Dog Behaviour by email or by telephone, and make a booking for a time and date for Simply Dog Behaviour to visit your home to undertake a dog behaviour session.

You the customer will be emailed a confirmation of the booking including these terms and conditions explaining the cost of the session and all that entails below.

You the customer will reply to Simply Dog Behaviour within 24 hours by email to confirm your booking time and date mutually agreed by you the customer and Simply Dog Behaviour.

When you the customer reply to the email you will be asked to state that you agree to the terms and conditions set out before you.

If you agree to these terms and conditions you will have the booking time and date agreed between you the customer and Simply Dog Behaviour confirmed and you enter into a legal and binding agreement. 

Here are the terms and conditions of our dog behaviour session.
 
When you contact Simply Dog Behaviour by email or by telephone, and make a booking for a time and date for Simply Dog Behaviour to visit your home to undertake a dog behaviour session.
 
You the customer will be emailed a confirmation of the booking including these terms and conditions explaining the cost of the session and all that entails below.
 
You the customer will reply to Simply Dog Behaviour within 24 hours by email to confirm your booking time and date mutually agreed by you the customer and Simply Dog Behaviour.
 
When you the customer reply to the email you will be asked to state that you agree to the terms and conditions set out before you.
 
If you agree to these terms and conditions you will have the booking time and date agreed between you the customer and Simply Dog Behaviour confirmed and you enter into a legal and binding agreement. 
 
If you do not agree to the terms and conditions reply to the email saying I do not agree and then your booking will not be confirmed.
 
Once you agree to the terms and conditions you immediately enter into a written binding agreement confirmed by email, to honour that time and date chosen and agreed upon, unless either party cancels that agreement.
 
If for whatever reason you the customer have to cancel your agreement before the session takes place you will be liable to pay an £50 admin/cancellation charge. This admin charge covers taking up a booking slot that could of been filled by some one else, the time that has gone into filling that spot with you the customer via contact over the phone or by email (My Time) and also covers lost revenue due to being self employed.
 
If this is the case and you the customer cancel an agreed / confirmed session you will receive confirmation from Simply Dog Behaviour requesting the full payment of the admin/cancellation fee owed.
 
You the customer will have 7 days to make the payment which starts from the time and date that you cancel the dog behaviour session.
 
If you the customer cancel the appointment on the day of the agreed/confirmed session or within 24 hours of the agreed/confirmed session taking place, you will be charged the full price of the dog behaviour session. This covers Simply Dog Behaviour’s loss of income for work that would of been completed 24 hours later or on that same day.
 
If you the customer are not available at the agreed time and date for whatever reason, after Simply Dog Behaviour has travelled to your home or premises, you the customer will be liable to pay for the full cost of the dog behaviour session. 
 
This charge covers my time; petrol costs incurred vehicle wear and tear and also lost revenue.
 
Simply Dog Behaviour has the legal right to reclaim monies owed from a legal and binding agreement which you the customer have entered into and confirmed by email or by writing.
 
If this is the case you will receive confirmation from Simply Dog Behaviour requesting the full payment of monies owed. You the customer will have 7 days to make the payment which starts from the agreed time and date of the agreed dog behaviour session.
 
Your payment will need to be sent by recorded delivery at your expense. You are able to pay by cheque, postal order or by PayPal. The payment will need to be addressed to Jason Devereux and if you pay by PayPal, the payment email is jason (at) simply dog behaviour (dot) co (dot) uk.
 
If no payment is received after the 7 days I Simply Dog Behaviour will contact you by email (the same email that confirmed the session) and a text by mobile (if one supplied on the confirmation email) to advise that the money owed is outstanding.
 
This action will incur a £10 charge for me checking whether payment has been received, sending you an email, and also logging events. The £10 will be added to your outstanding amount.
 
If after 14 days from your cancellation notice or failure to be at your home / premises for the agreed visit, you will be contacted by post asking for the money owed. This will incur a £50 charge for Simply Dog Behaviour’s time typing a letter and also the time and expense of posting the letter. The £50 charge will be added to any outstanding monies owed.
 
If Payment is not Received within 21 days of the initial cancellation notice or failure to be at your home / premises for the agreed visit, the debt will be reclaimed through court action. Again there will be a charge of £25 for my time dealing with the court action plus another £25 which will be the courts fee.
 
 
Payment For a session:
 
All payments must made before the dog behaviour session or at the time of the dog behaviour session.
 
Most people pay by Cash or Cheque, though there is a larger amount of people paying up front by Paypal where you are able to use a Credit or Debit card to pay for the dog behaviour session.
 
If you decide to pay by Credit or Debit card via Paypal please add an additional 4% to the total to cover charges accrued by Paypal. The email address to send the money to at paypal is Jason (at) simply dog behaviour (dot) co (dot) uk
 
I look forward to working with you and your dog(s).
 
Please reply back to this email within 24 hours to confirm your booking.
By replying back and saying in your email things like, “see you”, “Look forward to the session” etc. will be counted as agreeing to the session.
 
Please also confirm your full address, Telephone number and email plus Please also state “I agree to the terms and conditions that I have entered into” if you do agree to the conditions.
